The purpose of my design is to help students have a space for organization. During virtual learning, I have found it difficult to feel prepared during school, so I wanted to create a design that would help students feel as if they have a working environment from home. Through my design process I focused on creating not only a helpful addition to school, but a unique design that would be different from other organizers on the market.

An issue I struggled with was the design process. With such as saturated market for school necessities, I found it difficult to create a design that felt unique to me. Due to my concerns, I created a band shape that I had not seen anywhere that would feel compact and different from all the other organizers.

If I could redesign, I would probably include an area to hold and charge my phone. Since virtual learning is completely online, the need to have a phone accessible at all times is high.
- I think that 3D printing would strengthen my design by allowing me to actually create a product with such a unique shape. The design’s structure limits the way that production could be made, so the applications of 3D printing would allow for the broader range of production.
