What issues did you overcome?
I overcame the issues of learning how to 3D print and how to fit the measurements of the pegs while accounting for the inflation of the 3D-printed filament. I also overcame the issue of waiting to use our shared 3D printer. -
If you could redesign this again what would you change?
If I could redesign this, I would inscribe the names of the four core subjects and “Elective” onto the blocks instead of just color-coordinating the blocks and pegs to represent the subject of their choice. Also, I would maybe add another section for a weekly calendar about when certain deadlines are. - How would 3D printing help strengthen your design?
3D printing helped my design with seeing how the pegs fit and how the blocks interconnect. Also, it was a simple way to capture my idea of keeping young students organize in an entertaining way.
