What started has a lockdown project, a blog to demonstrate how to design and 3D print an aircraft, has now completed its maiden flight and joined my other models at www.rc3dprint.com
Link to the Skymaster here.
It is a Cessna 337 Skymaster, 1200mm wing span. One of my favourite GA aircraft around!
Similarly to the Piaggio Avanti in another thread I released this model early so as to be able to take lots of community feedback onboard with the design.
Take look at the flight video at here
Many thanks to Lee Ray for sharing his experience with me and building and flying the aircraft for its maiden. You can hear more about it and his experience of getting into 3D printing on the podcast he co- hosts RC Roundtable
