As part of my apprenticeship as a cabinetmaker at the Saint-Luc school, I learned how to reproduce the copy of a Louis XV lady’s desk from taking measurements on a period piece of furniture at the Saint-Ouen flea market in Paris.
Also from a school perspective, I have reproduced it on a 33% scale.
The idea was to create a parody of Ikea with the assembly instructions piece by piece and the desk mounted step by step.
This 3D printing is a nice didactic project, with all the original assemblies to scale too!
I have decided to make my project available to share my job and my passion which will perhaps make the youngest want to follow my path.
Print with Arianeplast wood filament with a 0.6 nozzle.
