These are pieces of moulding that can be used as part of a cap for a half wall feature. The top surface of the cap is not provided because it should simply be a plank of wood, MDF, plywood, etc. Alternatively, it could be custom designed and 3D printed separately. The thickness of the top does not have to be very thick because these contour pieces create the illusion that the top is 1 inch thick and rounded.
What it included are the pieces that go around the top surface and hide the cuts and joints.
There are 4 different styles (A, B, C, D) each with 3 different corner options (bullnose, round, standard).
Once a style and corner option is selected, print qty 2 of the selected corners (as is) and then scale the length of the straight piece to your desired length (based on build plate size and wall size). You will likely need many straight pieces to accomplish your project. The default length of the straight piece is 128 mm, which corresponds to the thickness of my half wall.
Print, sand, paint, and install. Installation varies depending on chosen printing material. I plan on using wood PLA for mine and construction adhesive or wood glue to hold the pieces in place.
