Bridge for X-Plus Spool Holder

large_preview_Bridge_3.jpg

First of All let me express my big thanks to mistertech for his great design of the “QIDI 3D X-Plus and X-MAX Spool Roller”!

What I missed on this design is a kind of “stiffness” or durability: the two sides that are not really tough fixed to the bearings are a kind of wobbly.

So I designed a “bridge” that mounts the two sides parts with a proper distance to perfectly guide the rollers.

There is no glue needed! Just print the bridge with a medium resolution, use supports for the 4 bolts and clean the residue with sand paper and a cutter after printing, then just “CLICK” them together with some force: a wooden hammer will do a good job.

Printer: QIDI-Tech x-Plus

Resolution: fine (0.2mm)

Support: yes / 70°

Print temperature: 190°C

Bed temperature: 60/50° (first layer / rest of print)

Enjoy the ruggedized spool roller for your QIDI X-Plus
