This is designed to snap on, or screw on if you want it to be permanently closed. Took the snaps from another design and added them to the box, then added a cutout for where the filament is fed through, and a block to the lid to hold the filament in place against the sensor.
Note: this will require you to glue down the sensor / hold it down. I did that in my original one anyway with a 3d printing pen, but glue or tape should work.
