A prediction of the second expansion (with nO uRL sHOrTenERs) – June 29, 2020 at 11:42AM

It is almost that time of year again…trailer time. So without further ado, here is my Prediction for the second expansion of this season.

So first…let’s have a look at the picture released before Ashes of Outland.

Out of the three, this one is obviously the hardest to guess. At first, you’d think the purple gem symbolizes the exodar, but that is not the case.

Look closely at the background around it. The top border of the image resembles a WoW banner, which gives evidence that this will be a race/lore-themed expansion.

The second clue is the color and appearance of the banner. The purple color of the banner, along with the tattered bottom suggests a war themed expansion.

The closest WoW banner that matches this pattern is that of Darnassus

This leads me to believe that this expansion will be something to do with the night elves.

With the tattering on the bottom, I’m suspecting that it is the War of the thorns, as thsat could symbolize war or the destruction of their homeland, which (spoiler) is burnt by the Horde.

So my prediction is a Night Elves/Alliance vs Horde expac.

Here are some Class ideas also.

Hunter: Nathanos Blightcaller or the Sentinels with lots of Beasts (Saber Cats/Panthers specifically…look up the ama. A blizzard developer does mention cats as an archetype)

Druid: A malfurion hero card. Possibly a Guardian/Armor/Tanking theme, as Malfurion does take bear form during this battle, which is the tank form of Druids.

Priest: Elune and Tyrande is a must.

Paladin: Hearthstone will figure that out.

Warlock: Forsaken plague or Demon summoners (again, hearthstone liberties)

Mage:Highborne, as they were the original night elf mages…with some Naga attacking.

Rogue: Continue Secrets and use Forsaken Deathstalkers.

Warrior: Soldiers from the Alliance and Horde, with a new Genn Greymane legendary fitting BfA and Saurfang.

Shaman: Naga again

Demon Hunters: Night elf and Naga demon hunters fighting for their home.

TLDR- If it’s not night elves, I’ll eat my shorts.
