Nerf Stampede Gears!

Nerf Stampede Gears!!!!

If your planning on printing the two smallest gears (the ones closest to the motor) I highly recommend using a high resolution printer so the tiny teeth mesh properly. regular FDM 3D printers with 0.4mm size nozzles may struggle with them, The two largest gears should be easy to print.

The centre holes (bores) of all the gears has been increased in diameter by 0.2mm counter material expanding to help the gears fit properly.

I have also added a reinforced version of the gear that breaks the most (gear number 2) It has a thicker shaft and supports for the teeth.

Your going to need some strong filliment for this, and print it solid. I tried several different plastics and in the end got them made in steel. Iv never heard of them breaking after years of posting them worldwide.

I Have my own website for 3D printing services and a FB page too!

I Have had these gears manufactured in stainless steel from Shapeways years ago and may have a few sets left. If you want to some made of metal just message me about it on my page or website!
