This is a custom insert for V-Commandos boardgame.
I liked Setarrif (https://ift.tt/2tl6kZh) work but I needed some hard modifications:
- The enemy tokens must be in coin capsules to avoid knowing which face is face up when I take them
- I like to have all the different tokens separated
- I sleeved the cards with FFG sleeves
So, I decided to take some ideas (mainly the item dispenser wich I liked a lot) and make a design from the scratch.
I’ve used MysteryDough’s Board Gale Insert Toolkit for Openscad and Fusion360. The package incudes the STL files ready to print, the Openscad project with the toolkit library, and the Fusion360 file.
I’ve designed it in two branches:
First, using the toolkit for all de boxes and trays of the insert. It is my first approach to this toolkit so there are things that can improved for sure.
Second, using Fusion360 for the item dispenser. I needed to change all the dimensions of this item and I found easier to design it from scratch than changing the STL mesh.
I’m a beginner whith 3d printing and I’m learning Openscad and Fusion 360, so there may be things that can be improved. Tell me something that need to be fixed and I’ll try to do it.
Please share your comments, makes and remixes.
