Twin DAR filter adaptor for Decathlon Subea Easybreath 500 mask.

For old mask (not 500) look here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4292778
For single DAR filter vesion look here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4305651
The new mask has different (significantly larger connector).
The filter cones are design according to ISO 5356-1:2015 standard, with FDM 3D printing technology in mind.
This version need no support at all, the locking tab is separated, so can be printed flat. This make it very strong. Easy to assemble – just click in. Once assembled it’s hard to disassemble.
The initial idea comes from

Print parameters:
- Material – PET-G
- Nozzle max 0.4mm
- Layer max 0.2mm
- Perimeters – 3
- Top/bottom layers – 3
- Infill density – 40%
- Infill pattern – Concentric or Grid
- Seam position – Random
- Solid Infill Threshold Area – 70mm2
Best result could be achieved with adaptive printing parameters set. Print parameters adjusted for different adaptor areas. For detail ask in comments.
For massive production print separately adaptors and tabs.
Files in project:
- Subea_EB500_2xDAR_Adapter_separate_tab_v1.0.stl – full set containnig all adaptor elements – ready to print
- Subea_EB500_2xDAR_Adapter_separate_tab_v1.0-A.stl – adaptor with peel-off integrated support – usefull for aranginng multiple adaptors on print bed
- Subea_EB500_2xDAR_Adapter_separate_tab_v1.0-A-no_int_supp.stl – pure adaptor – should be printed with support generated in the slicer. Be carefull to place support only under exhale plugs. Otherwise support leftovers will block the adapter form proper instalaton on the mask.
- Subea_EB500_2xDAR_Adapter_separate_tab_v1.0-A-plug-hole.stl – don’t print unless you exactly know what you are doning. Exhale output are not closed.
- Subea_EB500_2xDAR_Adapter_separate_tab_v1.0-T.stl – separate locking tab – usefull for aranginng multiple tabs on print bed
- Subea_EB500_2xDAR_Adapter_separate_tab_v1.0-W.stl – separate front valve wahser – usefull for aranginng multiple washers on print bed. Washer should be fixed with CA glue under front valve membrane to provide intial pretension of valve.
