V2 Changes:
- updated strap attachment area to match the IC3D Budmen V2 geometry, see photo
3D printing hobbyists want to join the fight against COVID-19, but many of us have printers too small to build common face shield components 🙁
This “tweak” to the IC3D version of the Budmen face shield (approved by the National Institute of Health) components allows printing on a 150mm x 150mm bed, like the Lulzbot Mini. Info on the original here: https://3dprint.nih.gov/discover/3dpx-013309
This version prints “folded”, then easily unfolds to the correct size and geometry to accept a plastic shield.
This was developed in part as an effort to contribute to IC3D’s efforts in the Central Ohio region https://ic3dprinters.com/covid19/
