Army Apaches Conduct Navy Deck Landings + Test Fire Of New MV-22B Defensive Weapon System (DWS) –

This video contains two unique training events: Firstly, United States Army Soldiers utilized the deck of the expeditionary mobile base vessel, USS Lewis B. Puller (ESB-3), to conduct AH-64 Apache and CH-47 Chinook operations in the Arabian Gulf (April 15-16, 2020).

Secondly, Marines with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 268 successfully tested the very impressive, remotely operated, GAU-17 7.62mm mini-gun / AWG-35(V) Defensive Weapon System (DWS)—Mokapu Peninsula, Hawaii (April 23, 2020).
