NASA Contributes Expertise, Ingenuity to COVID-19 Fight –

Administrator Jim Bridenstine discussed how NASA’s uniquely skilled workforce is rallying to help combat coronavirus during a virtual briefing with reporters on April 23.

Innovative solutions being developed include ventilators, an oxygen hood that can minimize the need for some ventilators, a protective canopy that enables health care workers to safely treat a patient, and technology being used in emergency vehicles and other areas to kill airborne and surface virus particles.
