USS America Flight Deck Operations • COVID-19 ERA MAR 2020 –

U.S. Navy amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA-6) continues flight operations in the South China Sea during the exploding COVID-19 pandemic on March 18, 2020. F-35B Lightning II Joint Strike Fighters, MV-22B Osprey tiltrotors, and CH-53E Super Stallion helicopters are highlighted. Units – Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA-122) and Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM-265) (Reinforced) and 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU).
