This virtual platform offers 3D printing training, part printing, materials and technical guidance
Northbrook, Ill., April 20, 2020: M. Holland Company, a leading distributor of thermoplastic resins, formally launched an online solutions platform dedicated to 3D printing. This online platform was built in response to COVID-19 to allow for remote access to 3D printing education and resources. The Additive Manufacturing Educational Portal allows participants to access training programs, educational courses, certifications, materials, printed parts and technical information. The site can be accessed at https://mholland3d.thinkific.com.
In an effort to provide more
convenient access to training, M. Holland has invested in the development of
this online system over the last several months. Although the 3D Printing group
will continue to offer in-person training, this e-learning system gives
business partners another way to learn new skills and access 3D printing
guidance and information across hundreds of processes and dozens of materials.
Members of the Additive
Manufacturing Educational Portal can enroll in courses and access other
resources based on their needs. The site offers à la carte training options
covering a wide range of topics, including essentials for fused deposition
modeling (FDM), selective laser sintering (SLS) and photopolymerization
(stereolithography [SLA] and digital light processing [DLP]; design for
additive manufacturing; operation guidance on 3D printer selection; material
properties and more.
