Printing Notes:
Printing in PLA
Tested
Prusa Mk3,
Ultimaker 2+,
Artillery Sidewinder X1,
0.4mm and 0.6mm Nozzle Compatible
Can be printed with 0.6mm Line Width and 0.25mm Layer Height, 3 perimeters
Can be printed with 0.4 Nozzle with and 0.25mm Layer Height, 4 perimeters.
If your machines extruder is capable of the throughput it can be configured to print 0.6mm line widths from a 0.4mm nozzle.
Infill 0%
When the perimeters are configured as above, no infill should be required.
If your machine cannot perform the small bridge forming the roof of the pins, infill may be used.
Recommendations for stacking.
Attached is a stack of 10 units with an air gap of 0.25 mm.
If using Cura, Layer heights must be 0.25mm for this air gap to work correctly.
When stacking, set external perimeters to 25-35mm/s to start.
Also, printing at the lower end of the acceptable temperature range for your particular machine and PLA brand will make stack separation easier.
Please separate the stacked prints before sending them to 3D One Australia, in order to make sure the stacking has worked successfully.
If you have found a highly effective stacking method for your printer let everyone know in a comment.
