This digital design project was inspired by the social distancing requirements of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The holes in the voronoi sphere are centered on faces of a rhombic dodecahedron. Multiple spheres can be joined together hole-to-hole to tile 3D space.
The file is optimized to print using clear filament with a 0.4mm nozzle. The model above was sliced with Cura using “surface mode” and a setting z-seam to “random.”
