UPAM3D Face Shield

UPAM3D Face Shield, used in Hospital Gregorio Marañón to protect our professionals. More than 7000 face shields printed, assembled and put to use.

Version 2, used in production

Based on the face shield model by Erik Cederberg (https://3dverkstan.se/protective-visor/), adapted to be used at our Hospital.

Instructions for use

  1. Print the STL file
  2. Punch 4 holes, spaced 80mm each, in an A4 clear sheet (with a ISO 838 4-hole punch machine).
  3. Put together the clear sheet and 3D printed part

Printing instructions

  • Nozzle: 0.4mm t 0.8mm
  • Layer height: 0.3mm
  • Top and bottom layers: 3
  • Shells: 3
  • Infil: 20%, triangular
  • No need for support
  • Can be printed in any available material
