The D3Hero is an IDEX printer with two extruder heads. In addition to two-color/two-material printing, it can print model(s) on the left half of the bed in either ‘duplicate’ or ‘mirror’ mode on the right-hand extruder at the same time. So in that case its like two smaller printers in one.
I got tired of trying to imagine where the dividing line was when laying out items on my slicer. So here’s a little 2mm x .2mm frame with a dividing line.
Just place the splitter in your slicer then lay out your models. Then delete the splitter.
You could also use the splitter as a level test for your glass since it does test the 300×300 perimeter as well as a line up the middle.
