Introducing the Fire Shot™ lure. It is similar to the Hot Shot® lure except the geometry is better suited to 3D printing. Specifically, the nose of the lure has a flat bottom that prints directly on the bed of the printer. To compensate for the lack of a protruding “belly” beyond the flat bottom of the nose, the hook end of the lure is bigger in that direction. It is important that the hook end is large enough and hollow so that the hook floats above the line when stationary. This gives the lure its characteristic action when trolled. The first two pictures show a comparison between the Fire Shot (white) and Hot Shot.
