Like many around world, Tredé joined international efforts to 3d print protective face shields for health professionals due to high demand and the disruption of traditional supply chains.
We decided to build upon the work of Erik Cederberg | 3D Verkstan’s 6 joints (US version) visor due to its efficiency regarding printing times, material use and speed for FDM.
In our version, we compromised flexibility for a closer lip in the front due to requests from health professionals in Puerto Rico.
Included in the files is a spacer for faster punching using a 3-hole puncher. Sheets must be 8.5″ x 11″ for it to work.
