EA Getting Soccer Pros Together For FIFA 20 Charity Tournament –
Electronic Arts is rounding up 20 as-yet-unannounced real-life footballers for a special FIFA 20 tournament (April 15-19) as part of its Stay Home, Play Together COVID-19 charity relief campaign.
The players are from big clubs like Chelsea, Roma, Real Madrid, Ajax, and other teams such as Liverpool. No word if a Juventus player will have to represent Piemonte Calcio in the game. EA says it’ll divulge more on the players involved via the game’s official Twitter account.
As part of the pros’ tournament and the Stay Home, Play Together campaign (which also involves other EA titles such as Apex Legends and Madden), EA is donating $1 million to Global Givings’ Coronavirus Relief Fund. The tournament will also feature ways for the community to donate.
