Really liked @MrDWGraf’s but wanted more space for more filter media. No original files available for modification. I went back to the original Montana mask source and modified that.
Mask strap rings have been beefed up. Interface inlet has been increased to 58mm. Separator changed to hex for more airflow and easier printing. Two caps are available. One for normal daily use and makes you look less like bane. The other is more for health care workers that may suffer liquid splashes (ie blood).
Filter material I use is 1x cotton round that is cheaply available at Costco and a thin piece of activated charcoal mesh you can find at aquarium stores. Thin piece of melt-blown filter material can also but put in front for added protection, but these can be hard to come by.
I print the mask itself in TPU or TPE for better fit and seal. The cap and separator can be printed with PLA, ABS or PetG. I prefer ABS or PetG as its stronger. Everything can be printed without support. I’m use a 6mm nozzle at 0.25mm layers for faster prints.
