My dad needed a new Ricon Catch Latch Base – RI60512 as his was broken to pieces. Being as I did not have enough pieces to recreate it I discovered this cheap plastic block cost $50 USD shipped. I was not able to find a dimension sketch for it so I had to waste $50 to buy it. 500% overpriced. I decided to use the new part to design it and print it out of Dupont Zytel as it is a super strong Nylon and I have never found anything close to this material. So better to use a few dollars of the Dupont for this if you need it, and store the leftover in a dry place.
NOTE: Once you have printed it, you will need to run a 5/16 NC18 tap through the threaded holes. The plastic expands some when printing and the threaded hole will be slightly restricted. Dupont Zytel performs well being tapped.
