im using silent board 1.1.5 from creality for my ender 3. now left with noise from hotend cooling fan + PSU fan (i can bear with this at the moment).
quick uncontrolled test i have done shows this mod seem to reduce a bit the noise level from cooling fan. check with hone app dB meter, it reduce around ~2 to 4dB (57dB to 53dB) during printing. (have tested on standby but forgot to record the sound level comparison)
do feedback it it works on your side, or not, i can improve more. guide and teach me on how best to reduce acoustic noise from airflow would be much appreciate, as i dont have formal education on this area 🙂
just attach to your cooling fan cover part, no screw needed. the open side of the part is locate to the part cooling fan side.
