Corner reinforcement for FLSUN Cube

large_preview_corner.png
I’ve designed a lot of parts for my printer, specially during 2017-2018 in my first ages of 3D printing and designing, before starting with astronomical models. Most of these parts are bad designed and have faults, so I’m redesigning and improving them to publish here.

This corner support was designed for the printer FLSUN Cube, but it could work for other printers with 2020 X section aluminun frame. This corner replace the original bearing support and the original aluminum bracket in the superior corners. Of course, it can be used in the inferior corners, without a bearing.

This model could be use for wall mounting using a 6mm dowel. I highly recommend to use washers in every screw instaled. The “nuts_part.stl” helps to place regular hexagonal nuts for M4 screws in the X shaped frame.

The bearing must be the same as the original, 608-2RS or 608-ZZ. It must fit very tight within the holes, the design hasn’t any lock for it. If the bearing enter loosely, try with an overflow config (101 – 103%), and please notify to me.
