AOS R5700 8051 Bayonet to 3M™ Bayonet Adapter
AOSafety R5700 8051 bayonet to 3M™ bayonet adapter intended to bring this old half face respirator back to life. AOSafety was sold to 3M™ in 2007, and no longer produces this half mask respirator and filter cartridges. Was popular during time frame as many hardware stores, and some construction crews may still have them.
To bring it back to life, thought I’d design a bayonet to bayonet adapter to see how feasible it would be to make cartridge side female attachment as a test bed. Note due to older AOS designed 5700 series bayonet, requires a LHS and RHS specific adapter, as certain 3M™ filter cartridges require clocking.

I have a Omni Star Silicone Full Face Respirator R7400 that I just bought off of ebay but its missing the filter adapter and the 3m filters will not fit it do to the 3 locking prongs on the mask are much larger that the ones on the 3m filters. will your adapter fit the 3 locking prongs on the mask to alow you to use 3m filters. and if so how can i get your adapter
