On-table simple supportless PC microphone in 4 parts.
Electrical parts required:
- 6mm electret microphone capsule (from headphones or webcam etc.)
- 10-150 cm length twin wire + 3.5mm jack plug
Materials required:
- Generic PLA plastic
- Generic glue for glueing up parts
- Solder wire
Tools required:
- Generic 3D printer
- Electrical solder iron
Assembly order:
- Snap off the frame from its base (only used for printing)
- Pass free end of wire into little hole in the frame and through microphone head. Make a knot after frame and put it inside.
- Solder up wire to microphone capsule
- Place the capsule inside head and put a cap onto it
- Tie all parts (base, frame and head+cap) using glue.
