OpenFaceMask OFM-1 –
OpenFaceMask is an 3D printable open-source protective mask, that only requires parts which are available in every common household. No gluing, no sewing required! The frame can be pressed together and minimizes print time when using SLS or SLA printer. A tight seal is possible using a tensioned latex membrane originated from a cut up latex glove. Everything is put together by pushing the membrane as well as the filter fabric into a groove of the frame and fixing it with an USB-cable.
What you need:
• unused Vacuum cleaner bag
• latex or nitrile glove
• 1m old usb-cable (or any other cable with 2-3mm diameter)
