I wanted to be able to print TPU filament on my DaVinci 3d pro printer. The stock feeder gear assembly is too loose for the flexible filament.

I was unable to find the pneumatic push connectors he was using (it is a modified, non-standard PC4-M6 used by AnyCubic, and is no longer available) so I redesigned the brackets to allow for a standard PC4-M10 pneumatic fitting push connector and M10 nut so that I could run the PTFE (4mm OD, 2mm ID) feeder tube into the gear exit, thereby tightening the gaps, and forcing the flexible filament into the PTFE tube. Cutting a ‘V’ at the end of the tube is essential to getting it to fill the gap. I also found that the tubing at the heater end needed to be replaced. You can get to that tube by removing the push connector from the heater housing. The tube is 4mm OD, but the ID is closer to 3mm and I found that some filaments, flexible or brittle, could plug up in this area. Changing it out to a 2mm ID PTFE tube fixed that problem.
For my system, I printed the part using an Resin printer. I have not tried printing it using a filament printer.
