Pop / soda bottle or any clear plastic that fits Face Shield – inspired by @josefprusa and @3dprintingnerd videos of making a face shield and the Italians printing ventilator parts for the hospitals it made me start thinking what household item can we use if we are all desperate for face shields or other face protection, and as i was drinking some oj from a plastic bottle I realized I had the answer in my hand.
Now I know we could just put a hole in each side of the plastic cut from the bottle and tie it on, but that may not work for say a sandwich / food / freezer bag etc.
So I made a universal 3D printed holder that will take practically any plastic material and make it usable as a face shield, just cut the plastic big enough to cover your face, push it in to the clips then tie it to your head with whatever you have available – I used some left over Christmas ribbon.
Happy Printing to all and try to stay safe in this new Corona Virus infested world we are now in!
