This hotend assembly is designed to encase the cold block and direct the air away from the build plate to aid in printing ABS. If printing in ABS it’s best to adjust the horizontal expansion.
The parts print best as layed out when files are opened, front and back housing with supports everywhere and 70 degree selected, 3 walls and 40% infill.
The parts cooling piece should be printed with supports touching build plate, 70 degrees, 3 walls and 40% infill it does print fine with FDM printers but i did ended up printing it with a SLA printer as shown in the pictures for a smoother finish .
