FLSun I3 Endurance Laser Mount

This is a simple open box mount that should fir any of Endurance’s Lasers. I have a 10 watt unit. This will pick up the 3mm mount holes on the Laser and you will have to drill two 1/8′ 6mm/0.25″ deep holes to mount the mount to the extrusion /bearing holder.

The FLSun is surprisingly a good little printer after you spend the time to tweak it in but the X-rods are not inline and that means there is no off the shelf mounts for anything. I did originally do a quick release mount but this is simple and will only require removal of two screws to remove the laser unit.

As an option I added in a soft 2mm thick silicone gasket. You can see that in the images as the milky white stuff peeking out. I added this to help eliminate some of the vibrations to improve the accuracy of the laser. To make one just trace out the base on the silicone (2mm is just what I had at hand) cut it out and poke two holes for the mount screws. I added a touch of glue stick to hold it in place which sort of worked until the screws got tighter. To make it look perfect you may have to tighten and straighten the silicone in stages.

This took about 45 minutes to print using PLA

Have FUN!!

You could probably use this as a base for fan mounts for the 3D printing side of things.
