I wanted a customisable OpenSCAD SD card holder. I got some design inspiration from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2932245 as I liked the way it looked.
The result is this script where selecting the required combination of trays the script will automatically generate the trays and the correctly sized housing to hold the trays. It used the OpenSCAD customiser to enable easy parameter adjustments.
There are options to specify if the script should generate ready for 3D printing or to show what the resulting SD card holder will look like.
Depending on your 3D printer, you can control the clearences for the outher enclosure as well as the spacing between trays. Lastly it’s possible to have two lines of text on the back (e.g. your name) and on the front the SD Logo.
Once printed out you need an M3 screw and nut of the right length to hold it all together.
