I’m trying to make a recreation of a solar map I saw in a game. It has a background of what I think are various kindsof wood &/or stone. I know a place with a large cnc, so there’s the bulk of it.
But I’m stuck on the metal bits. The map would have embedded metal, brass I think, forming the dotted and dashed lines of the orbits, and larger circles + rings for the planets. It would be terribly easy for it to end up sloppy.
Can anyone help me figure out how to get or make a hundred or two little brass rectangles of very consistent size and shape, without spending $$$? Estimate: similar size to large grains of rice. Figuring out how to get ‘decent precision’ turned out much harder than I expected.
