Maze Cube Plus-I #5 BTS

large_preview_maze_cube_BTS_final_work.j

This is the fifth work of my ‘Maze Cube part-I’ series.

As a fan of BTS, I hope it will be a special gift for BTS and ARMY.

As I have worked hard on the design of this maze, you will have to put more effort into printing, assembling and completing the final work.

The file ‘Maze Cube I-5 Body_(beta).stl’ added to the attachment is not suitable for printing on a common 3D-printer. Because, the tubes inside the body are bent so that it is difficult to remove the support to secure the passage. This file is just for showing the originals of the Maze Cube, and for a printer that can print empty tubes perfectly without a support inside.

If a beta-version cube(original body) is printed without support, the passage will be more narrow as the filament of the missing part of the support will be stretched down. (Could using a small ball to pass through this narrow passage be Plan B?)

Um.. I recommend printing and assembling six plates and inner connecting tubes, which are parts of the Maze cube.

Before covering the transparent plate with the final task, you must carefully check on the path of the maze and especially inside the tube to make sure that the ball rolls smoothly.

The number of lanes on the Maze cube is 17 each, and size is 151 mm each. To complete a product of this size took me more than three days. You may consider making it about 60% smaller.

The mission in the maze is to touch down all three points: the “B” point, the “T” point and the “S” point. (You can refer to the attached solution file.)

As a hint, the “B” point is connected to the center hole of the “ARMY” plate, the “T” point to the center hole of the “heart” plate, and the “S” point to the center hole of the “bangtanboys(방탄소년단)” plate respectively. Therefore, you will succeed if you pass these three center holes.

I hope this ‘Maze Cube’ will be worth the time you spent making it and be a good gift.
