A dodecahedron shadow lamp with traditional pentagonal rose design, inspired by many other similar shadow lamps out there…
This is a new, from scratch, design of a shadow lamp style commonly seen in a variety of formats including CNC, laser-cut and 3D printed.
For this one we wanted to make a highly detailed version of one of the most traditional designs, fully 3D printable, and held together with printed clips rather than glue, cable ties or other methods seen elsewhere.
We’ve printed it successfully in both standard PLA and copper enriched PLA. Printing using standard PLA produced a more durable result with less flex. The clips in this upload are designed with that material in mind.
