“Australian Bushfire Photography 2019/20 © Gary P Hayes – these are images I took close to home as several fire fronts came so close to home that we had to evacuate – given our home is in a very bad location (forest & escarpment). This piece inspired by a range of emotions around the destruction of natural habitat, animals and homes and lives.
