This is a camera trolly for and Ender3 with these dampening feet (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2913473). These feet make the print bed a specific height, which this rig is designed for. I realize this isn’t very ‘general purpose’ but thought I would post anyway.
Some design ideas behind this… I didn’t want to have to disassemble/reassemble my bed mount to add/remove my camera. So, this just springs/cups the bedposts. While it holds in place well, there is a bunch of give and flexibility as well. I wanted something that kept my camera in a fixed location relative to my print.
You do need a couple of bearings for the wheels. These are standard and easy to source: 608ZZ 8mm x 22mm x 7mm
I know this is a bit ridiculous and over-engineered… but that’s half the fun of 3D printing! 🙂
