Duet Maestro Case

I designed this as a case for converting my Robo R1+ to a Duet Maestro. It is designed to be bolted to the main (lower) case of the Robo and direct wires underneath so its un-affected by removal of the top cover of the machine. It also is intended that the R1 be on taller feet than the factory rubber offerings.

Please see my other things for more conversion parts for the R1 upgrade/rebuild.

I designed the cover to be flat so you can cut a clear cover from plexiglass to look awesome. I also included a simple extruded cover to be 3D printed.

Print with NO SUPPORTS. I would advise you have your bridging tuned before printing this.

The reset button utilizes a “sacrificial layer”. The little bit of plastic between the button and the rest of the body (not the hinge side, but the opposite little chunk that was a bridge) should be cut off after printing to free the reset button for use.

The active board cooling utilizes a 5015 fan bolted onto the side opposite the reset button/ethernet/USB/sd card. The fan was kept external to facilitate easy maintenance/replacement of the fan.
