Gabe and his friends are foster kids, and there isn’t anything in the world that makes them feel all too special about it. When Psi-Gen Robotics comes along and takes an interest in each of them, it appears that life could finally get interesting.
But Psi-Gen has different plans, and through their experiments the children awake to discover they’ve been given strange abilities. Using their newfound skills, and with the help of a gifted young girl, they escape. But just when they think life could be normal again, they realize that they aren’t out of harm’s way, and neither is the rest of humanity, as Psi-Gen sends their androids out to retrieve them.
