Remarks
Secretary of State
QUESTION: Mr. Tillerson, can I ask you, sir, please, recognizing the Trump decision yesterday on Jerusalem, Israel, Jerusalem as (inaudible) as the capital of Israel, a reaction (inaudible)? What’s the reaction of the United States Department of —
SECRETARY TILLERSON: Well, I think, as the President said in his remarks, the recognition is just a recognition of reality. We’ve very committed to a peace process still. It’s what I know the whole world wants and we still believe there is an opportunity for peace.
Thank you.
QUESTION: Yesterday you made a statement about Georgia’s aspiration to NATO. Can you tell us respective of Georgia and NATO and —
SECRETARY TILLERSON: Well, the U.S. strongly supports Georgia’s membership in NATO and we look forward to completing all the steps for that to happen.
QUESTION: Thank you.
QUESTION: Secretary Tillerson, what will be your message to Foreign Minister Lavrov?
SECRETARY TILLERSON: I’ll save that for Minister Lavrov.
