I’m trying to understand alphas and textures. Actually what I’m trying to use is bump maps so I guess that’s alphas? Trying to sculpt for 3D printing so I don’t need the “painted textures” on the model.
Is there a way to apply a tiled bump map to a whole model evenly?
Like say I want a hexagon pattern all over my sphere… I can draw it on with the brush or clay tool but the overlaps don’t align with the hexagon pattern and it looks messy. I want an even, seamless hex pattern all over my sphere or box or whatever.
Not seeing a way to do that. Thanks for any advice.
