We seriously need to make a map of which libraries have 3D printers people can use – February 8, 2023 at 11:38AM

(I screwed up on the title and people thought I was talking about making a database of private printers. Public printers are ones people have access to. So like the ones in libraires)

So, I was doing a quick search for someone that ran into a problem. Due to shipping cost I was recommending they use a local 3D print at a library. When I went to help them find if their local area even has this (a place I am not familiar with and note I’m several states away. I couldn’t find a map or anything indicating it. I had to go to each library to figure out if they even had one.

We all need to get together and make a website which shows on a map and/or search all the public libraries.

Note to make sure it stays up and no one has to deal with cost between domain, sever, etc. We can make it a web 3 site. I will look into how to make it in a way where like wiki anyone can edit it. If anyone wants to help in this then please do so.
