Almost complete map of fantasy world called Droshar + magic! [Feedback appreciated] – April 8, 2023 at 02:09AM

Hello! This is a map I made recently for my own fantasy world. I started writing on the lore for this world

To explain some parts of the world’s lore, there is two magic systems that exist in Droshar. One called Ignimancy, and one called Runic Type. Ignimancy is essentially elemental magic where people can manipulate and control the elements through strings that are within almost everything. This source derives from a natural energy source called Vril. Meanwhile Runic type is arcane creation magic. It is written based where symbols, glyphs, runes, and other writing forms are used. It is the opposite of Ignimancy in terms of not being natural. The source comes from your mind and will power alone. This is called Essence. [There is still a lot to figure out.]

Other than that. The world of Droshar has two main gods

Ignias and Noxtal. Goddess of creation and fire, and the God of night and shadows. Ignias is believed to be the one who gave the world two suns. Known as the ‘Eyes of Ignias’ or the ‘Orbs of Sunder.’ During the night, there is no stars or moon but instead the Suns darken like an eclipse that lasts throughout the whole night. This phenomenon is called ‘The Mark of Noxtal.’ So think of night long twilight.

People who use Ignimancy, especially ones who worship Ignias believe that Runic type is taboo and horrendous to use. This is due to Runic type being creation magic. Magic that only Ignias should have not the people.

Beyond the sky, the land has history. This is called West Droshar for a reason. Past the Reach lies an expanse of arid and barren land where one nation rules East Droshar. [NAME TBD] is a authoritarian government that rules the people withan ironfist. They also use lgnimancy but under a sub branch called Combustion. This is where people use the Vril inside themselves and control it. This manifests itself as fire or something similar to that, I haven’t figured it all yet. But for right now, its kinda like fire force or firebending basically. [I can see the similarities of the fire nation and this one. Oh no..]

The two regions do occasionally interact, but its mostly limited to trading at specific locations (Sakar lake, Icelost waters, and sometimes the Reach) Tension is increasing due to recent rumours of a possible invasion from the east.
