So, an idea I’m working on is instead of playing with minis, I reuse plastic bottle caps, and then print and glue character/monster images on top of them. Yes, I could glue the images onto cardboard, but I think using something 3D will make it easier to move around. Now the other issue is how to do battle maps. If I’m using bottle caps, I can’t buy some kind of standard play mat, because those grids are around 25mm, while my caps are around 30.
An idea I had is taking a couple blank papers and drawing the grid on them, but I don’t wanna do this every time I wanna make a new map. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do this? Is there some kind of see through foil paper that I could just draw the map details on, and have the grid paper underneath it?
