What do you use for map app? – September 18, 2022 at 07:33PM

There is currently a big shakeup going at Gaia. Apparently Outdoors purchased them and let a lot of people go. The Gaia sub seems very apprehensive about the future of the app.

I am not looking for an alternative. I must say just about the only thing I use Gaia for is importing gpx files. Mostly track logs I’ve saved and exported from my Apple Watch. Me and a few friends share them when we do hikes and add interesting spots and potential camp sites.

I think I am going to play around with CalTopo next or maybe premium All Trails?

What are your thoughts?
