Hello Everyone!
We’ve recently seen some awesome PLA printed compression springs that seem to have high load and repeatability (see https://www.reddit.com/r/3Dprinting/comments/m7rc7n/so_i_used_prusament_pla_mechanical_properties_to/). I wanted to start a thread to collect and discuss other 3d printed spring designs.
Here’s cool weak torsion spring that forms a pivot without an axel: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4635134
Here’s another compression spring as a one-piece shock absorber: https://markforged.com/resources/blog/part-of-the-week-3d-printed-shock-absorber
Have you seen other designed for tension and torsion springs?
