Star Wars: Two Emperors Reign Supreme in Rise of Skywalker Concept Art –
A leaked image from The Art of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker teases there could have been two new, yet very familiar faces ruling the Star Wars universe as emperors.
The concept art shows Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) seated on a modern Sith throne and, shockingly, Daisy Ridley’s Dark Rey is right beside him, sporting an all-black ensemble much like we saw her in during her vision aboard the wreckage of the Death Star II.

While Kylo looks pensive, Dark Rey seems to be more focused and more aggressive, hinting she’s the brute in this Emperor-Empress relationship. While he ultimately failed to seduce her to the dark side, seeing them both clad in black offers insight into what could have been had they joined forces to govern the galaxy.
The Art of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker was originally supposed to arrive in December but was delayed and will now release on March 31. Published by Abrams and authored by Phil Szostak, it contains “the official behind-the-scenes concept, production, and post-production art for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.”
